We are proud to share that the innovative biodegradable tights you now see on our website are the result of a special development project, supported by the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development.

As part of our continued mission to offer functional, sustainable, and skin-nurturing products, we formed a dedicated team within the For Lady family to work on this project. With funding approved under the Third Pillar of the Fund’s call for innovation financing, we’ve spent the past months focused on research, development, and perfecting a product that has no equivalent — not only in Macedonia, but globally.

The result: biodegradable tights and socks with antibacterial properties and a cosmetic effect, now available for purchase.

These products aim to address three major challenges:

1. Unlike conventional tights that take decades (often over 50 years) to decompose in landfills, our biodegradable tights break down within 5 years, helping reduce textile waste and environmental damage.
   
2. Thanks to a special finishing process and the addition of Aloe Vera extract, our tights help care for your skin, especially during colder months. The antibacterial properties also help reduce sweating and prevent unpleasant effects like fungal or bacterial infections.
   
3. As we expand production of this innovation, new job opportunities will be created — with a focus on employing single mothers and young adults under 29, supporting those who need it most.
